Filmography

January 26th, 2010

If you look us up on IMDb , or look up our producers like Kent Hamilton, you’ll see a sampling of the films we’re insured over the years. Getting on these lists is really at the discretion of whomever prepares the credits for a production. Putting the insurance agency or agent in the credits is not required. We’d like to think these random acknowledgments are a testament to our company’s reputation. We average between 180 to 220 film, television and documentary productions a year, but that’s based on records going back 10 years at most. We’ve been insuring films since 1969, but nobody thought back then to keep a simple list of films and television shows we’ve insured. I’m going to guess a complete listing would contain over 5,000 films, television shows and documentaries.

Unfortunately, many of the films and television shows we’ve insured are not listed on IMDb with us in the credits. To be perfectly honest, this list is mostly based on IMDb, our memories, and our collection of film posters. While an IMDb credit listing was arbitrary, so is whether or not we get a poster for a film we insured. Television productions are even harder, as there is usually no poster to collect.

Over time I will compile the IMDb credits and the movie poster records, and turn this into a first class reference! I’d love to be able to collect more film, television or documentary titles, so if by chance you’ve been involved in any productions, and know we provided your insurance, we’d love to hear from you.
