An Insurance blog?</p> <p>Well, at least it’s “Entertainment” Insurance. The Truman Van Dyke Company is an insurance agency in Los Angeles California that insures movies, TV shows and a whole host of other entertainment related endeavors. Yea, we’ve done some pretty cool stuff over the years if you’re a film buff. Our founder , Truman Van Dyke Jr., had a role in <a href="http://www.tvdco.com/about">‘Gone with the Wind’</a>. Truman’s mother, known as <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0174800/">Renie’</a>, won an Oscar in 1964 for costume design on ‘Cleopatra’. We insured ‘The English Patient’, which won an Oscar for Best Picture in 1996. We’ve insured other cool films like Saw, The Wedding Planner, Amadeus, Reservoir Dogs, ...</p> <p>But for every ‘English Patient’ in the list, there are ten films like “Biosphere” , “8 Heads in a Duffel Bag” or “Benjie 3”. Point?, this site isn’t about high art or glamor. We pretty much sell insurance, albeit to a sometimes interesting client. This site is about how to insure clients who’s activities fall under the insurance classification of ‘entertainment’. While filmed entertainment is only a portion of what we do, our blog will most likely focus on it, for obvious reasons.</p> <p>So why are you here?
